Just Bragging

SORRY!!!
This post has nothing to do with the paranormal or anything like that-I just want to brag ^^
My sweet little Basil-bub (Basil) just had her kittens last night!  She had six of them, most of them are dark tabbies but one is white with dark gray tabby spots.  It's the biggest litter she's had to date.

Let me tell you a bit about my Basil.  She is six years old, and we got her the day Michael Jackson died.  I had hopped into the van when we were going to go get her and that's when I heard the news.
She wasn't the cat my mom wanted, she wanted her sister but I fell in love with this almost rag doll like kitten (we got both).
Basil was sick when we got her and she was accidentally overdosed when both mom and I had medicated her.  Poor thing almost died.
A year later, she got into the mastiff pen, most likely trying to get their food, and we think she got her skull crushed.  Mastiff's are big dogs, and our one happens to be very defensive when it comes to her food.
Well, turns out Basil's nine lives gene (or super lucky gene) gets past to her kittens.  As one time our mom ran one over (his name is Chester, he was well over eight months at the time).  My brother saw that his bottom half was underneath the tire.  However, we never found a dead cat later as you'd expect.  He was perfectly fine.  I should probably also mention that this happened in the spring and the ground was soft with the rain.  But he was still run over by our mini van.

I never use to have luck with cats.  All my favorites always died within a year or so.  Basil is my baby as she has broken this streak.  She also loves me best \(^u^)/

Where are the Ghosts?

I really like ghost stories, urban legends, and the like.  Don't know why I do, I end up scaring myself and getting a little more then paranoid after I've looked this stuff up.  However as much as I believe in ghosts and the paranormal, I've never actually had an experience.  Save for a gentle touch, the sound of someone running down the hall, and our dog freaking out when we moved into our new house.  But I don't count these for the reason that they've happened years apart.  I like to think of myself as a very logical person.  If I hear a strange noise, "Ah, that's just the wind (as it usually is)."  or, "It's just one of the animals outside."  and even, "This is a super old house with a ton of problems and any thing I hear upstairs is just the place moaning!"

There aren't really any haunted places in west central Minnesota, so that's why this blog is called, "Where are the Ghosts."  However I would like to tell anyone who bothers to read this all the stories, urban legends, and other cryptic things I've rehearsed.  I will also grace you with my totally level headed thoughts on these subjects as well.  I also like to go to the movies, so I might let you know what I thought of any scary or fantasy movies I went to.

AND FEAR NOT!  I have recently found a place nearby that is said to be haunted, and I intend to check it out!

So I hope you will ride along as I drag you about the more obscure paranormal world  \(^o^)/
